About Us
We are a Human Factors consultancy that advises businesses, government and other organisations on how to improve efficiency and reduce human error by optimising work environments, systems and processes.
We work to understand the organisation and its goals, assess how it functions and how people interact and work, and we engage with your staff and deliver solutions that provide long lasting value.
We bring the science of ergonomics & human factors - human capabilities and behaviour - to the assessment, evaluation and design of environments and systems. We use our wide ranging experience alongside methods and tools that involve front line staff and management in the process.
CCD was formed in 1977 and is a leading international Human Factors Consultancy. We employ 20 consultants, plus associate staff, who are expert in Ergonomics, Psychology, Architecture and Design. We have extensive experience in the rail, road and air transport sectors, emergency services, security, oil & gas, energy and private utilities companies.
