Applied Research
Human Factors is a practical and pragmatic activity that applies a scentific knowledge of peoples capabilities and characteristics to the problems faced in work. Sometimes the knowledge is missing or more frequently isn't sufficiently specific to the area of application.
To answer the proejct requires an applied approach to research which develops the necessary knowledge quickly and inexpensively.
What do we do?
We don't compete with Universities and other similar organisations - what we provide is an applied and commercial research process. Our staff have a research background having studied and practiced behavioural sciences, many therefore have experience of conducting applied research programmes.
Doing applied research to answer specific practical questions often helps our clients gain a new insight into their businesses and are a springboard for the development of new ideas and innovative solutions.
We are a research-led organisation with new knowledge essential to develop new ideas. As such we have a full programme of internal research projects to benefit our own understanding, our staff, and our customers.
