Neha Gupta

B.Tech (IT), MSc

Neha graduated from University of Dundee in 2010 with a Masters degree in Design Ethnography. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in software engineering from Chennai, India. During her MSc, Neha worked for the programme's industry partners, carrying out research for clients including Swisscom, NCR and Capability Scotland. She went on to join the London School of Accountancy and Management soon after completing her degree, where she worked as a Business Anthropologist for over an year before joining CCD in 2012, as a Human Factors Consultant.

 

Francesca Lenton

BSc, DPS, MIEHF

Fran LentonFrancesca graduated in Ergonomics from Loughborough University in 2005, joining CCD soon after. During her degree she spent a year at the Ergonomics and Safety Research Institute, Loughborough carrying out research for clients including the DTI and HSE.

Since joining CCD Francesca has worked across a number of industries including rail, oil & gas and emergency services. Clients have included Network Rail, South Eastern, Rail Safety and Standards Board, TfL, LUL, British Pipeline Association, Ambulance services and the Metropolitan Police.

Francesca is a member of the Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors.

 

Adam Parkes

BSc, MIEHF

Adam ParkesAdam graduated from Loughborough University in 2002 with a degree in Ergonomics. He joined CCD in 2007 after working for 5 years at QinetiQ applying Human Factors in the Defence and Security domain.

Adam is a flexible consultant working across a range of safety critical industries, since joining CCD he has: Designed Control centres for the emergency services, provided advice to the Australian Customs service on their CCTV systems, authored a guidance document to raise awareness of HFI within the DfT TRANSEC, analysed operator requirements, workload and communications flow within Network rail control centres and provided design advice for heavy handling gear to be used in a safety critical nuclear environment.

Adam is a senior consultant and expert user of SAMMIE CAD a human modelling tool which CCD uses to optimise the design of workstations and workplaces to accommodate the user.

 

Joanna Prichard

BSc, DPS

Joanna graduated from Loughborough University in 2006 with a degree in Ergonomics and a year spent at Nissan Technical Centre Europe. Upon graduating she worked as a Human Factors Engineer at KCI Medical and Lockheed Martin before joining CCD in 2012.

From her previous experience, Joanna has knowledge in the car, medical and defence domains. She has worked with a wide range of users and stakeholders including medical staff, patients, military personnel and MOD. At her time in Lockheed Martin, she was a member of the Human Factors Integration Defence Technology Centre (HFIDTC) conducting research for the MOD customer in areas such as live/synthetic training, Unmanned Air Vehicles and skill fade. She also performed Human Factors activities in several helicopter programmes including Search and Rescue Helicopters and Merlin Mk2.
