Workplace Assessment

Workplace Assessment

Workplaces vary enormously, whether indoors, outdoors, open plan offices, control rooms, equipment rooms, machine rooms etc. The work we do in these environments also varies hugely, whether monitoring tasks, control tasks, display screen based tasks, assembly tasks etc. The environments we work in have a significant impact on the work we do, how we do it and how consistently and safety we are able to do it.

Problems in the design of workplaces can have a detrimental impact on performance and output, and over the longer term can have significant consequences not just on productivity, but on health and welfare - leading to time lost due to injury or illness.

What do we do?

Whether you are planning or designing a new place of work, or have issues with an existing environment, we are expert at carrying out workplace assessments and at diagnosing issues within the workplace.

The benefits of assessing the ergonomics of the workplace include:

  • Get the most from the people by designing for the user and the task
  • Increased productivity
  • Reduced human error
  • Lower risk of H&S problems

Whether issues concern lighting, acoustics, manual handling, desk based work or plant work (to name a few), we will work with you to resolve any underlying problems in the workplace and maximise the safety, comfort and performance of your staff.
